Thanksgiving

At The Bridge there is much to give thanks for. One resident said tonight how grateful he was to be at The Bridge rather some other places he's been in years past. Holidays mean many things to families, some are filled with good memories and some bad. What a blessing to watch God create some new memories in the lives of the men here. Some men haven't experience a "sober" holiday in years.

Thanksgiving Table

Tonight we were blessed with a beautiful new table. We grew out of our old table quite a while ago. Rod, a friend of The Bridge has worked hard making this wonderful new table for us. He did an amazing job and after a long while he finally delivered it tonight. Boy, was this table worth the wait. Thank you Rod!!!!!

Celebrating two people who quit smoking!!!!

Way to go guys for not smoking!!!! Some of us got to tag along for the celebration!

Way to go more then 30 days of no smoking means Famous Daves BBQ for these guys!!!

Two baptisms

There is so much to share, there just hasn't been much time for posting. Many things have been happening, for starters here are two pictures from the last baptism. Sal & Patrick were both baptized!

Third Annual Fundraiser and Dinner

The Third Annual Fundraiser and Dinner for the Bridge, held at the wonderfully revamped Calvary Chapel of the Monterey Bay, was a complete and overwhelming success! Approximately 300 guests filed into the Main Sanctuary, which was remodeled to serve as a fantastic dining room. There was such an abundance of help from so many volunteers that it appeared to be a flawless evening. And, to top off the whole event, it was just revealed that after expenses the Bridge netted $30,000 from all the events taking place!!

Wow, what an incredible night!
